Just got the update… relatively painless and took only a few minutes to download/install/reboot.
Same here… Took the dive about month ago. The Apple TV app announced at CES was the main selling point for this particular approach to cutting the cord.

Just a heads-up. After a firmware update, it’s possible that your router could assign a new IP address to your Tablo making it difficult for your various apps to locate the Tablo at that new address.
In order to solve this, try re-syncing the app on that device.

Can anyone verify if you will lose Remote Access and have to reset it up? My son is set up with Remote access. He is in the Military so its not like he can come home and reconnect anytime soon. He was just here for a 2 week break so it will be around Christmas before he is home again. He is stationed over 15 hours from here.
I didn’t.
I have not had to re-set it up recently, but I was in on the Beta so I cannot recall all the way back to the first release if I had to or not… That is a tough use case to have it break.
Care to share ANY tidbits as to what may be in that in hopper for us Tablo lovers?
I upgraded on Saturday but didn’t check the Tablo Connect remote access until just now, and it shows as being active. So I didn’t see any problem.
Also ready to beta test the AppleTV 4 app!
