@TabloTV
I went to check my scheduled shows and realized that the guide shows no programming data starting April 28.
First it’s just a couple channels but it keeps increasing until by May 1, there is no data at all.
I have rebooted, deleted app and reinstalled, and rescanned, nothing seems to help. I even tried different zip codes with no luck.
My legacy is just fine, it’s just the Gen 4 has the problem.
I am getting data for as late as April 29, but that is as far as it goes. Not sure what the issue is.
I’m seeing the same issue. And when I go to settings and refresh the guide, it gets stuck at 42%.
I was getting broken up recordings for several days. Turned out to be the hard drive. When I unplugged it it worked but then it wasn’t working right so I had to do a hard reset factory reset. Since then I’ve only been able to upload 27% of the guide and it gets stuck and nothing I can do will fix it. I tried resetting the router. Then reinstalling the application then setting it up again and everything works good. Until I try to update the channel scan and it goes very slowly but stops at 27% every time no matter what I do. I also reinstall the app on my TV before I try it so I’m pretty sure it’s not something I’m doing wrong. Tablo says just wait. They’re looking into it but it’s kind of hard to wait cuz I’m still having problems.
Same issue here. Gen 4. Guide data trickles off and then stops around 4/30. I hope they fix this within the next few days or we’ll be screwed.
I have the same problem. My guide stops it at 27% updating and grays out so you can’t do anything without starting over.
It was suggested that I choose less channels so I went from 145 to 50 channels and it did finish updating. I noticed my guide still ends around May 1st for most channels so I’m not sure if that’s the answer but it seems to be an improvement.
It may have just been a glitch yesterday. I checked again today, and have episodes through May 8 now.
It appears that the Jump to Day feature only shows the current day + 5 days and updates nightly when the guide updates. However, you can still see shows 2 weeks out when searching. When I search American Idol, it returns shows out to May 4 and 5. Our Library/Scheduled tab also has these May shows scheduled to record.
I initiated my Guide Update at 0910 hrs and it completed at 0913 hrs. I’ve had your same issues in the past with the Guide, and spent time improving my network, signal quality, and devices to improve our experience.
Is it possible that your network just isn’t up to par with/optimized for what Tablo needs?
UPDATE: however, I also see in the Guide Grid that some channel data disappears once out 5-6 days. Our local PBS, FOX, and NBC affiliates are particularly affected. ABC and CBS look pretty good.
My guide does not update completely beginning May 1. A few update after that but CBS and other major channels do not. I emailed support and they did not acknowledge the issue. They wanted me to rescan the channels and use another zip code close by. Did not work. Evidently the guide provider is having issues in certain markets. Too bad they don alert folks instead of being silent on it.
Ya, maybe we chock it up to the provider data at this point. However, some are having issues completing their Guide data updates, too. We have no way of knowing whether this is also a provider issue, a Tablo back-end issue, or a local network issue. Probably the best we could do is let Tablo know so they can investigate. We don’t see any issues updating our guide, but we do see some missing programming in the guide grid out 5+ days.
We have corrected the problem with our guide data servers and data should slowly start filling in for the coming weeks. By tomorrow, if your live TV grid is still missing data for dates in May, please contact support with details.
A public dashboard like this, instead showing Tablo services, sure would be helpful. Something like this is pretty simple using Pingdom.
I had been working on this issue since the 18th I believe and I was updating to 25% and then it would stop and the buttons would gray. I finally saw this by unchecking. All of the channels that I wasn’t watching which took me down to about 50 channels from 150 and then the guide was able to update.
Today’s announcement is good, but I did notice a growing percentage of my programming would say programming not available from May 1st at 1:00 on most of them and then every few hours more would drop off so that could be be normal and nothing to worry about. And I’m assuming that but you ask people to respond if they were still missing some programming from outside May. Just let us know if this is a problem that we need to solve or will it solve itself in time?
@ Tablo…I contacted Support a couple of days ago and they did not acknowledge the issue. They advised me to change my zip code and re run the channel program update in settings. Very frustrating when a know issue is not acknowledged by support. You are now advising us to go back if the channel guide is not reflecting the programming after May 1? For the record my guid has not changed a bit and most of the major networks do not have programming after May 1st.
I’m seeing the same in my Guide. May 1st has most programming filled in, but after that, it’s very sparse.
Same here. Still not fixed!
Submitted a Support request this morning on missing Guide programming.
From Tablo:
Unfortunately, our guide data provider is currently unable to add schedule data for certain missing channels.
Our team is actively exploring long-term solutions to address this, but it may take a few months before we’re able to fully resolve these types of issues.
It sounds like they’re having their own problems with providers.
That’s the same answer they have been giving since at least June 2024. Who knows when they will get it figured out.
Still having major guide issues as of Sat night! Can’t set up recordings!
