I also have a Linux laptop in a closet that I forgot about and maybe could have used that as a last resort to download the .ex file.

I tried it and the same issue. It downloaded but what showed up was not the .exe file. So it was not a PD issue.
So it is either EDGE, WIN11 or MCafee. My best guess.
FWIW Edge on W10 LTSC had no issues with either, so probably not the browser at least 
I just tested with Edge on Win 11 25H2 and it blocked it. It came up with this message, so it can be kept.
No problems here with Chrome, Opera or Firefox.
Its Windows that’s blocking it. Just ignore the warnings, it should work.

A neat feature would be an in app macro recorder or web server to control tuning the channel. Also a playlist export option for a channel would be nice or an option to have ffmpeg add channel name as media title and create a playlist for the channel.
My old Tablo Legacy just died on me a few days ago and so I bought the newer Tablo 4th Generation.
Was at first disappointed that although the 4th Gen has some nice new features, I lost al the features of the Legacy, including the ability to offload videos to my PC.

Now does anyone know how to read my old Legacy Tablo USB harddrive? Almost 2 TB of videos on it I don’t know how to get off
If you’re not a Linux user, you’ll need the software to allow you to read an ext4 filesystem. Then you can get to the (multitude) of video snippets and even use software like ffmpeg to stitch all the pieces together into “one” file (if you like).
Are you sure it’s dead? Investing in a 12V/3A power supply on Amazon might be worth the $9 or $10 to see if you can save your videos. I’m surprised you weren’t already using Tablo Ripper or Tablo Tools.

It powers up, so the power supply is fine. No longer will reset or connect to my wifi or wired ethernet and will not recycle or reboot. Blue light never flashes but stays solid. Unit is no linger visible on my roku boxes, mobile devices or computer (wi dows).
As for Tablo Ripper, i do use that. But lost my wfe to pancreatic cancer and guess through dealing with the loss i got out of the habit of using it.
Not a big deal on the vis on the drive thiugh because it was mostly things I dont watch, just hiard.lol Just thought it would be nice to retrieve the content is all.
Going to try CJCox’s method of reading the drive.
Also a friend is offering me his old legacy that he no longer uses. Anyone know how easy it is to transfer the drive to it?
As far as I know, the “transfer” to a different Tablo method doesn’t work. You’d get a reformat scenario.
Also, i always manually ran Tablo Ripper. In retrospect i should have had it running in the background. Lesson learned there i guess.

There have been cases where the unit appears to power up and will work fine with another power supply.
Try using the power supply from the unit that your friend is offering as a test.
If it works then it can be marked up as another power supply that became marginal with age.
