I can’t record episodes individually on CBS no matter what I do. Please don’t assume that because it works for you that everyone else can do it.

So you are also saying that not just network shows but local news and local programs can’t be recorded.
Something y’all may not have tried yet but could maybe work, is a router or modem restart. This may get a new connection to the servers for your region and begin delivering the missing content or failing features.
It’s worth a shot. Maybe couple it with a brief press on the Tablo reset button. Router first, Tablo second.
Just for you. Using Roku, I went to the guide(Shows/CBS) and was able to series schedule new for the first 8 shows. But Only 6 ever showed up being scheduled. Big Brother and 60 minutes disappeared.
The app also let me schedule these 2 shows with individual recording. But they also never showed up as scheduled. Big brother was one of the shows that wasn’t even in the guide(shows) 2 days ago.
Yea, I can’t record anything on CBS, not sports, not news, not local, not network… nothing. And yes, viewing CBS is fine. Just the error when trying to record.

I’m not using Roku. It’s the Tablo app for Android and for Fire TV that I can’t record anything on CBS with. I suspect it’s the same for the others having the same issue.
The only thing I’ve found that I can’t record is national news on NBC. Everything else seems to work fine on every other major network. At least for what I need it to do. But I have not tried to test every scenario. In my narrow little recording world (technically) Tablo is fixed.
Have you tried recording anything on CBS? Are you using the Tablo app for Android or Fire TV?
I was able to start recording Meet The Press this morning while it was on live, because it didn’t show up in my “Coming Soon” for this afternoon, when I normally record it on NBC’s other channel - Cozi. I haven’t tried recording anything else on NBC.
Fire TV Stick works just like Roku. With the exception of when scheduling Big Brother and 60 minutes individually they show up in the Library. But they are not accessible due to failure to load content.
I’ve done limited testing (after the Friday night update) on all major networks and the only one I found with limited recording issues is NBC. CBS works fine. I’m using an onn 4k pro. Actually I’ve had very little problems since this all started. There was only one day (last Friday) when my wife’s judge shows stopped recording on Fox. The Friday overnight update by Tablo fixed it all and my complete recording schedule is back. But we do not record a lot and many shows will not record all summer until new ones start in the fall.
I tried again with the Fire TV Tablo app and still get the “Failed to schedule” message if I try to record anything on CBS, whether it’s live or upcoming.

do the updates from Tablo come out at the same time or times each day?

Is the problem the result of Gracenote no longer providing support for the listings, and you’re having to repair the issues yourselves?
My Tablo Gen4 can not do series recording on some programs. Both Roku Ultra and Android do not show series recording options when recording these programs but I can still set a recording for one episode of the program. Other than it seems to be working as well as it did before the big crash. It still has an issue connecting to Tablo at the beginning of the hour or it shows a blank guide. This happens between 3-7 PM Pacific time for about 10-15 minutes.
And the inability to record anything, whether it be individual programs or series on CBS (2.1, NY area) continues.
The definition of insanity is to do the same thing and expect a different result … we need a fix, not a refresh/update.
