Resolving Tablo Server Outages - July 27 & 28, 2025

On the legacy I use the guide where you can select by genre or sometimes “all” just to sift through them all. I don’t record news or sports and rarely movies. When I started using the 4th gen I gravitated towards the live grid. I lived in spreadsheets for a lot of my engineering career (laying out and programming product configurators) so I like the live grid layout.

Since I find 80%-90% of the content is useless I use the TV Shows by channel on legacy thus by passing the garbage channels.

Of course gen 4 likes to call it view by network when in reality it’s view by channel.

We record 11 shows on a regular basis. Considering everything that is out there I’m guessing that’s about 1 to 2%.

Close. My 27 channels on legacy produce 312 TV shows(not episodes) over a 14 day schedule.

Recording live sports as a series (New and All) still not working for me in Charleston, SC.

Not working for me either (West Coast). However, some series that were scheduled before the recent guide issue are still working (i.e. WNBA, MLB, NWSL)., but NFL is not. Attempt to delete and recreate the NFL series recording exposed what you are reporting.

No recording for programs on CBS (2.1, NY area).

With football season coming, this needs to be fixed … and Tablo support, please don’t suggest another refresh, cache clear or waiting for the next evening update.

Yup we are coming up to the first Sunday of NFL 2025, 1st anniversary of you-know-what

Yes IMO a big part of the frustration is Tablo implying that those hoop jumps will somehow help, when as far as I can see they don’t help.

Gives the impression that Tablo does not know what they are talking about, or even worse are hoping to distract the populace with pointless busy work

A device like tablo, for its envisioned users, needs to download and install updates and fixes automatically. I thought that’s what the wee hours updates were about, so why seem to tell people that, if they want the fixes sooner,they can jump through some hoops and help things along?

NYC It’s Sunday 8/10, 815A, I’ve forced a guide refresh, same problem; unable to record CBS. How much longer? Is this our 2nd weekend? 3rd weekend? We need a fix that actually fixes things. Please post an update today.

Recording series still not working, getting: Failed to load: The requested content was not found

Any old Tivo users know what company they used for guide data?
I know there was a cost involved but it sure was rock solid.

Phoenix area. Guide was updated overnight (an hour ago) and still no changes to the isuues.

ABC (15.1) General Hospital will only record an episode but I receive this error when trying to record the series.

Antenna TV (15.2) will not record either episodes or series for any shows.

Yesterday Morning, after the overnight deployment with the solution, I did the following:

  • Guide update/series recording didn’t work
  • Deleted the iOS App
  • Factory reset the Tablo
  • Rescan the channels
  • Guide update/series recording didn’t work

24 hours later I cannot record series for one channel (maybe there are more channels with the same problem, but this is the channel that matters to me), only individual shows.

Honestly I am out of options here, I don’t know what else to do, recommendations? Apart from jump ship to another solution, thank you

It seems users ignore all the talk that series recordings may not work for the network shows until there is a fix. They continue to spend more time trying to force it to work then actually recording the episodes individually until it starts working again.

Still unable to record CBS in NY.

Same here. The guide is finally populated with the shows but none of my units (LG, Roku, Android phone, onn box) will allow me to record any of the WCBS shows. The record option is simply not there or greyed out depending on app. It’s beginning to feel like someone has turned off this particular channel for recording. Viewing is okay.

This is not just related to series recording. Individual recording—even when the show is live— is not working with WCBS. On my Roku, the show pops up in the guide or when searching shows, but there is no Record option like there are with other channels.
