Resolving Tablo Server Outages - July 27 & 28, 2025

On Roku instead of using the Live grid, it’s much more fun to use the guide(Shows,News, etc) to see what’s missing and/or in the wrong category. For me Fallon is totaling missing. News NBC now has Chicago Fire, Med, and P.D.

Nope, no change and no response from Tablo!

Nope. Did all the recommended steps. Still holes in the guide.

Guide is missing many entries. This is getting old fast!

Reviewing my guide data tonight, It appears that starting on Aug 7th NBC, CBS, and ABC data has populated, FOX is still a no show.

Two of my saved series programs had episodes previously scheduled, but were missing as of this morning. Now those episodes are appearing and indicate in the “scheduled” section that they will be recorded.

The guide itself is still a strange mess: Missing programs, missing LINES / BOXES… It leaves a strong impression of being broken.

This appears to be more than just guide data needing to update. And the lack of transparency on Tablo’s part, is nudging me back toward HDhomerun.

I sold my HDHR Flexx 4K just a few months ago on ebay. Though I’m happy for its new owner, now I’m thinking what a moronic decision that was.

It’s midnight, Aug 5th. I cleared Tablo Cache and updated the guide. My guide is populated with show names for CBS and NBC rather than “Program Not Available” but they still cannot be recorded.

Progress? I’m feeling hopeful that all is moving in the right direction but I tend to be a hopeless optimist.

Mine’s the same. But if you advance a few days or into next week, you can record series and it should record this week’s shows too. Mine are now showing in my library, with a few black thumbnails (CBS).

Mine is resolved except for metv toons that just moved channels. It’s also not showing on my Sony tv guide either. BUT. still can’t record NFL colts, shows game but won’t record so I extend show before 3 hours.

Some improvement as guide data has filled in better but still can’t record items on CBS with error fetching data message.

Better, but still a few holes.

Sports are still showing “Error Loading Airing Details” on all channels when using AndroidTV or Android phone.

When using a Roku, I see the issue. I can’t record as it shows the time/date as “6:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday December 31, 1969” and later on “Ended 56 yrs, 4 mnths ago”.

I see no improvement. Yesterday’s update does not appear to have affected anything. Still missing programming data for numerous channels on both Legacy and Gen4 apps on all client platforms (Roku, FireTV Stick, Chromecast with GoogleTV, iPhone, and PC.) I’ve also reverted to using the Legacy apps for daily viewing as the Gen4 apps randomly fail to load library data, both recordings and upcoming.

I tried my iPad, and sports display correctly (right time and date, right description) when you click on them in the live TV grid, but it gives an error when trying to record. That is so weird that each device does something different.

Lkny: The same 3-hour block had missing guide data for NBC and ABC last night in the South Bend, IN market. Today, ABC looks complete out to August 13. All cells are populated until then. This could be evidence that some progress has been made. One oddity is that selecting the Colts @ Ravens game Thursday night on ABC doesn’t provide any information or recording options other than it aired from 7:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday December 31, 1969 and “Ended 56 yrs 4 mths ago.”

I have seen that 56 years thingy now and then for a year or more .
old news and for me not integral to the current outages

I’m noticing significant improvement this morning in New York, but it’s not perfect by any means. You can check the various posts I’ve submitted this morning documenting my current issues. Thanks for sharing your insight as well.

I have Tablo on the Firestick. If you look at next week’s schedule, AGT may show there and let you set the series to record. It worked for me on a couple shows when I got the “error loading” error on this week’s schedule.

All the blanks have been filled in all channels in Central Virginia so definite progress, BUT all those that were filled while they allow Recording to be programmed, it is only for a single episode. The Series choices do not exist, so it looks to be a populating all data issue still.

But for now, I can easily live with it.

It’s the first I have seen it and it is on all the major sporting events. So I believe it is integral to the current outages.
