Check it again tomorrow after the early-morning automatic update.
I have a similar issue that seems to have first shown up on Friday, July 25. Although I only have two blank one-hour slots on the EPG for my local PBS channels for two specific programs: The PBS NewsHour; and Amanpour & Co. There is no written comment indicating that these programs are not available – just blank slots on the schedule.
Same hear! I was able to get back online this morning. But like you some of my time slots on several channels are blank.
I tried all of the things that were recommended but certain channels like the legacy networks have gaps in the guide. It does not appear that the guide provider is back on line completely or the Tablo servers have not completely downloaded all of the data available.
My guide is filled with lots of “programming not available” this morning. I’ve seen explanations for this in the outage thread and elsewhere, although none were from Tablo. It was my understanding that this would be recovered in the overnight period. That didn’t happen. Updating my guide in settings didn’t help either. Is their a timeline on getting this issue resolved? Thanks.
Same problem here

Improving TV Guide Data Availability on the Tablo Platform - Announcements - TabloTV Community
I also have several main channels (NBC, ABC, and CBS) that show Programming Not Available.
Hi folks -
We’re investigating the reports of missing guide data. Stay tuned.
I guess ill have to get rid of mine if these gaps in the guide dont resolve. I suppose it will eventually correct but, I now fear this might happen again. As someone pointed out it dosent appear Tablo has any sort of backup system to rely on. Sure do miss the reliability of my Tivo premier that my Tablo replaced.
ABC,CBS,and NBC are mostly blank on the guide.
Its actually almost as usless as it was when it wouldent connect.
I guess ill give HdHome run a look.Anybody else happen to have one?
It’s really a shame that the Gen4 has had these issues. My OG Tablo has been stable for years (aside from this past weekend) and doesn’t exhibit the missing Guide program data problem.
In fact, we didn’t seem to experience an extended issue with the Gen4 this past weekend - it was mostly our OG Legacy that was affected.
The Gen4 product has been getting better and better - it’s just too bad that it wasn’t of higher quality OOTB.
I am still down… was down from the beginning…
fyi, back in Jan 2025 I lost the blue led functionality on my 4th Gen Dual Tuner Tablo.
Tried:
- sent support ticket.
- hit reset button.
- turned off tablotv overnight.
- tried ethernet connectivity.
- tried wireless connectivity.
- uninstalled the app on my android phone, rebooted phone and then reinstalled TabloTV app.
- everything on my home router is functional, 100% connectivity, nothing has changed since power outage.
I’m pretty sure they haven’t exactly resolved “all” of the servers issues, perhaps I’m wrong, perhaps they are trying to show credibility of resolution.
Sounds like you tried everything.
Sorry but issues are not fixed. I have “program information not available” on many channels in the guide. No guide information for ABC, CBS and NBC and not able to watch them live. Fox works. Solid blue LED light no longer works (yes it is turned on in settings). I did the suggested reset button push and a manual update to the guide those did not fix problem. This is happening in both AppleTV and LG apps. I don’t have trouble watching these channels or this guide problem on my LG TV. Internet is fine. This is a Tablo problem.
Like others I’m receiving program not available in channel lineup. Followed instructions to reboot but problem persists. Also I no longer have a solid white light. I have no light of any kind at all.
If your device is running normally with the light off, then check in the Tablo app, go to “Settings”, then “General”, and look at “LED” option…if it is “off”, then the light will be off when the device is running normally.
I too am missing a lot of programming info in the guide, as is reported by lots of others. So Tablo is aware of the issue.
LED light is turned on.
Ordered an HDHomeRun Flex 4K ATSC 3.0 yesterday. Going to integrate it into my PLEX server. We shall see.
Is it possible the gen5 could be made based on the Legacy units, and leverage their reliability,
rather than on a revised gen4,
or a whole new design, that would have its own problems?
A gen5 based on the legacy units sounds great.
My tablo guide is working fine for all channels. However, it does not recognize any network news programs like ABC’s world news tonight or CBS/NBC network news. It also says programming not available for morning news shows. Anyone know of a way to fix this? I can’t record the evening news since it doesn’t appear in the guide. PS my antenna amp is off.
