The legacy Tablo do have a manual recording ability. I guess the Gen4 do not.
tablo has spent so much time and effort on the gen 4 appletv app it has to have every bell and whistle possible including manual recording.
Unfortunately I get metoons clearly but don’t watch it. Have you tried using a better antenna. I found I get 176 stations when I mount the antenna to the roof. Also, this improved antenna gets 30% more channels….
Here in Chicago, MeTV Toons is finally showing a schedule on 26-7!!

Using Tablo Gen4 on Roku, after a rescan in Chicago area the Metv toons schedule is there!

No rescan should have been needed. Mine just showed up that day.
I did not have to do a rescan. WLOO 35.5 Jackson, Mississippi, got renamed METOONS and started showing the correct programming in the guide a few days ago.
With regards to “rescan”, because of all the “changes”, repacking or otherwise, it’s possible that people would need a rescan because their channels have actually “moved”. Anyway, to say “not needed” can’t apply in all cases due to that, even if applicable in this particular case (more of an fyi, to others).
If the Tablo already has the channel scanned, but just no guide data, then it will fill in once the data becomes available.
That is what happened when they added the new fast channels. One had the wrong shows listed but it got straightened out.
Still nothing in the Philadelphia area. I will give it till Sept 1st and then I am canceling my yearly Tablo legacy subscription.

In the Portland Or area, the shows are starting to show up, but they are on the metv channel. Nothing on the Metv Toons channel at all.

I’m in the Philly area and I get the channel name, but I still don’t have any programming data for it.
Unless a miracle happens literally overnight, it looks like this won’t actually be happening by the 13th. I still have nothing! I guess I’ll have to complain again.
I can verify you don’t see whats on either by Tablo or the TV itself. Its not a Tablo issue, it’s the company that lists the shows fault. They don’t even show up straight off the antenna in Sacramento yet. Apparently it works in Chicago.
