No MeTV Toons schedule

I suspect that life on this planet will not end on 8/13/24 at 12AM.

I’m not really sure you understood the context. The people at zap2it said it’d be on their listing in my area by August 13th. Neither party mentioned anything of an apocalypse.

Probably the reason it got done faster in Chicago is because that is the home of Weigel. Not sure if any other Weigel-owned stations have gotten the guide data yet.

MeTV Toons OTA isnt even out in my area yet… Philo has it… I’m so stoked for GoBots, GhostBusters, Freakazoid, and Captian Planet.

MeTV Toons OTA guide was available in the Dallas area within a week after launch.

I got a new updated date after complaining again to the zap2it folks for guide data. September 4th apparently in my area. When that date passes I plan to keep reaching out with complaints until it’s actually resolved.

I completely understood the context. METV Toons is a new network. We existed before METV Toons. And I think we will continue to exist. To me it appears that much of the problem happens where a new sub-channel was created versus replacing the content on an existing sub-channel.

Using that logic, you could say we existed before Tablo and we will exist after it as well.

Gee I’ve been recording since the Sony BetaMax PVR. And tablo wasn’t my first DVR solution and currently isn’t my only DVR solution. I existed before the BetaMax. If all DVR’s vanished I would continue to exist.

But why does your apocalyptic thinking mean we, as users, cannot be afforded a properly working product?

Happy to announce that I finally have guide info for this channel!

Still nothing in Portland, OR

We have a guide for MeTV Toons in Phoenix AZ, but it’s been 3 hours behind what’s actually being broadcast since the launch and nobody seems to be able to correct it (including Zap2it and Titan)

To make sense of this you would have to check the metv toons schedule to what is broadcast. Some networks have east coast/west coast feeds and the schedule is adjusted to GMT offset. Others just broadcast the east coast feed and that usually causes schedule issues.

I’m sure you’re right. Even the EPG that’s built into the signal is wrong

Still no guide for MeTv toons in the Philly area for my Tablo. My regular tv has the guide, but not my Tablo. Beginning to get frustrated.

You mean the antenna connected via coax to the TV is picking up the PSIP data which is part of the OTA signal. And that is not the 14 day guide.

Correct, it is also wrong (in addition to Gracenote, Titan, Zap2it, etc.)

My ZapperBox got the guide about a week after it was released. I contacted customer support and they took care of it in one day.

So you paid $275 for 2 tuner and $30 a year for 14-day guide with DVR functionality.
