NEW - Tablo Apple TV App Update (v. 2.4.0)

Hi folks -

A new update to Tablo’s app for Apple TV is on the way.

Your Apple TV should update automatically in the coming day or so, but you can check the Apple App store for the update now.

Here’s what you can expect…

Tablo Apple TV App Update (v. 2.4.0)

Fix for playback of in-progress recordings
Fix for issue where play position of partially viewed recordings was not retained
Other bug fixes & performance improvements

Can you expand on this? I can think of two possible issues this might be:

This issue, which I haven’t seen in a while: Playback Returns to Beginning of Recorded Program
This issue, which is still current and probably one of the major negative UX issues on the Tablo Apple TV app: UNpausing causes jump back to previous show

Hi @foigus,

It refers to when an airing is currently recording, and then you go to watch it from the Recordings screen. The recording should begin playing at the start, but the issue seen had it starting from the ‘live’ position instead.

Thank you. Noticed this last night, didn’t have to rewind the nightly news for the first time in quite a while.
