Watch and record same program?

I promised I searched for this one. Apologies if it is obvious.


With Tablo and a Roku… can I watch a program while it is recording? This is a very common use case with our TiVos… we typically start watching an hour-long program 20 minutes after it begins so we can skip the commercials and still stop watching on its regular schedule.

Does Tablo support that kind of time shifting?

@cedarrapidsboy - Yes - you can watch a recording in progress on Roku. It appears in the ‘Recordings’ section after 30 seconds.

Yep! You can start watching a recording after it’s been in progress for 30 seconds. All you need to do is navigate to the Recordings menu and it will show up there.
