27th email received from Escalations Team February 20 (refer to above post). So if your rescan isn’t working, “keep rescanning until it does work”. Useless.
Saturday the Tablo Gen4 was getting fewer and fewer channels with each rescan. The signal
indicator got worse and worse and flipped from channel to channel. I did all the standard “jiggle the handle” recovery methods to no avail.
Sunday morning I power cycled (unplugged the power) to perform a “cold reboot”. Afterwards it worked “normally”. Meaning a different problem surfaced where there was a station that was in the Channel Lineup but not in the Guide. I opened another support ticket. The channel appeared later that afternoon. Still haven’t heard from support on that ticket.
Wednesday morning I’m able to rescan and save out of market stations again. Watching and recording out of market also.
But only if the signal strength is above midpoint. Although local KHPK 28 (ss30/sq98 - 2 red dots) scanned and saved. So it’s inconsistent.
