Appearantly the out of market scan no longer works on the Tablo Gen4 for DXing.
I used to be able to scan and save KXXV 25 Waco in Dallas via Tropo weather events. (Also KBTX 3 RF16 ss32/sq100 in Bryan Texas)
Friday the 6th I’d been watching KXXV for about an hour via antenna to LGTV. Sunday the 8th I was watching KBTX.
I rescanned and saved using Android mobile, LGTV app and Fire Stick 4k G2 but it doesn’t recognize the RF16 or RF26 signals. It’s not in the Channel Lineup or the Guide and channel count remains the same. I even changed the zip code to rescan. No joy.
So either the signal strength is below Tablo Gen4 threshold (ss31/sq100) or out of market has been “remediated” or deprecated.
