I agree, mine has been paired for several years without a problem.
Mine’s (both) been accessible for like 6 years without issue. Only reason it’s only been that long is that we moved and changed provider/topology at that time. Sure, they’ve been down, but that was do a temporal power outage, and I’m on critical grid point.
Mine has been crashing too since the latest firmware update. I have the 2 connection with a hard drive attached. Doesn’t stay up for more than a few hours and have to reset it. Well ventilated and not warm when crashes
I changed out power supply on tablo and disconnected hard drive and used universal power supply on hard drive and still crashes. One other thing I’ve noticed is half the channels don’t show what’s on in the guide. This has all happened since the last update
This crashing has to do with refreshing the guide. I’ve been able to recreate it when refreshing the guide. It’s a software issue since the latest firmware update and Tablo sent me a your request has been solved. Saying that a channel scan has not been done recently and I need an active internet connection to download the guide data. Can’t do it when it crashes my tablo.
Time for a full reset maybe of your Tablo? (start over) IMHO, something is wrong. Maybe interior DB corruption? Not sure. I’m pretty sure your problem is fairly unique to your situation though. That is, doesn’t appear to be a wide spread event caused by the upgrade.
It’s also possible there is a hardware issue with the unit.
I have two 2-tuner units and they never crash.
