Tablo App for Samsung TIZEN Smart TVs (4th Gen) Update - (v.1.5.1)

Have others received the 1.5.1 update? I’m still stuck on 1.4.0.

I check the app store every morning, but v 1.4.0 is the only version offered.

@TabloTV - while I don’t check every morning, it’s probably once per week or less. I, too, have v1.4.0 of the app and now when I go to watch TabloTV on my Samsung QN65QN85DA TV using the built-in app, it locks up on the first frame when I watch a recording and won’t play.

I’m not able to get into the Clear Cache on my TV - for some odd reason it’s greyed out and not available. Update: I was able to clear cache this morning, 1/1/25, but TabloTV is still not working on my Samsung TV.

I wonder if this updated has to be pushed by Samsung and maybe they’re dragging their feet.

Just noticed that the available version on the app store says - updated 12/23/24, but it’s still listed as v1.4.0.

Not happy with this delay, but nothing I can do about it. As for the option to be a beta tester, kinda feel like we’re all already doing that.

My 2019 QLED HDTV finally received this version 1.5.1 update. I finally have preview thumbnails while fast forwarding through recordings.

Now I wonder when the new 1.6.0 will be available since it took over a month for this version to make it to my 2019.

I finally have the v1.5.1 update too. However, after clearing the cache and data on the TV, it barely works and mostly spins and can’t connect. Tizen v6.0 on Samsung QN85DA.

I guess it is a positive sign that some are getting the update, but mine has not updated yet. I think I might be running Tizen 8, even though my TV reports Tizen 7 through the browser. I was asked to update Tizen a few months back, and the UI is different from my other Samsung TV that also reports Tizen 7 and has the 1.5.1 update of Tablo.

I finally received version 1.6.0 today.
