Are there any plans to release a Mac OS compatible tablo app? I would love to use my Macbook to connect to the Tablo.

Would love to see one. I suspect only a third party app, or if Tablo releases the iOS to run on macOS (a simple Apple App Store setting for Tablo to perform).
But I second this suggestion.

It’s not a native Tablo app, but there’s a new bare-bones Tablo Player killer app that’s working quite well for watching and downloading Gen4 videos. It definitely fills a gap and is the only game in town.

The Tablo Desktop Player is a great program. I use it to archive my recordings. I do keep forgetting that I can use it to watch live as well. I usually use Bluestacks Air on my MacBook Air and use the android Tablo Gen4 app through it.
This app is great and works perfect on my Windows machine.
However, I got a blank white screen after starting it on my Mac Mini running the latest MacOS. Any hints?
It only works on Apple Silicon. Do you have this? If so, it also require the latest VLC Player be installed.
