I just installed a Fire TV Stick 4K and am unable to locate the Tablo app to install. There serial number of my Tablo as a firmware of 2.2.58. I’m also unable to watch standard over the air stations like ABC, CBS NBC, Fox, etc. on Apple devices like my iPad & Apple TV and the Apple TV app.
Welcome to the community. Sorry you ran into this, but did you buy the Fire TV Stick SELECT? If so, it may have the VegaOS which, at this time, isn’t compatible with the Tablo device. Tablo has asked for owners of this specific device to contact them to help with testing the new app specifically for this VegaOS device.
You will still need to have the app installed on your mobile device in order to configure the Tablo device so, except for your mobile phone, I’m afraid your FireTV streaming device may be dead in the water for now, for Tablo anyway.
Do you have any older devices like a Roku, Android, Onn, AppleTV, etc?

I do have AppleTV, but the Tablo app I have installed will not let me watch the main over the air channels like ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and CW. I get an error message,
Playback Failed
Cannot Decode
When I select Try Again, it still will not work. This happens on AppleTV and on my iPad.
I just returned a Firestick 4K Select for the same reason. Found out the hard way that it was not compatible with Tablo due to the new sotware version.
Same here, would not work with HDhomerun either. The app is just not here to install. I went back to an old 2nd gen stick and after wiping in and reinstalling the Fire OS. It still is’nt there.
