Tablo 4 DVR will not recognize usb hard drives (No Hard Drive Connected - error message)

Tablo does admit to hardware failures and does replace Tablos under warranty, see here for proof.

Poor Tuner Reception

I got the replacement in. Just swapped out with the old, did a channel scan and it picked up all 30 channels, the same as the TVs. Looks like the old one did have issues. Tablo support did me right and was fast on the shipping. Thanks all for the help through e-mail and in this form!!
