I have the 2-tuner and am looking at getting the 4-tuner.
I know the super-cool copying the hard drive trick.
Will I have to do that again? Will the new DVR insist on initializing the drive?
Oh. What about my timers? Will they roll over? Urgh!
In this scenario, I’m guessing I’d have to copy everything off the drive, initialize the drive, then copy everything back to the drive. That’s about 6 hours round trip. =(
Seems as though it looks like I know the answer. I just want someone to tell me I’m wrong.
