Have you seen ota2go? Yes, it’s a 3rd party app designed for mobile devices. disclaimer:. I have no personal experience with it.

Google Play says my tablet is not compatible with the app. That is truly weird, it is a Samsung Note model.

But it would still be nice if tablo supported CIFS and/or network storage.

Tablo ripper will make a backup but cannot play Tablo. Due to the lack of NAS Support by tablo affter using it for about 10 years the Hard Disk finally went bad. Thousanjds of hours of movies and TV Shows gone. Because of the lack of NAS Support I have ordered a Silicon Dust HDHomerun Flex with a Synologoy Raid Mirrored Drive. I think it is a crime that Tablo does not support NAS or Raid O which is built into the NAS I ordered.

Maybe not necessarily “Due to the lack of NAS Support” on tablo’s part, but a user keep a video library on semi-proprietary device.

There have been discussions about DVR vs Video Library, to each their own.
