When the previous poster posted, I didn’t have to click on the Tablo Community. I immediately saw the Unread link again. But it does go away if you have read everything.

Do others here have the Unread link next to “Latest”, “Hot”, and “Categories”? I have slightly more access than most of you, but it should be the same for everyone.

I’m wondering if it’s your additional access because I sure don’t see it. That would definitely make what I’m trying to accomplish easier.
I use firefox and that’s (latest) is the default category.
Yes, I do. But only when I have Unread items. Perhaps you have to be a member for a certain period of time, or earn a certain badge.
Darn. Because that is exactly what you need.
You only have the “unread” if you login. Otherwise you just get the 3 base categories. I have thousands of unread. I prefer to use the DVR then fret over all posts.
This is an interesting mystery why some of us see it and some don’t. I generally use Firefox as well so I switched to Edge to test this and I still don’t see the Unread part:
At least I don’t feel totally stupid/crazy that I was just missing an obvious option somewhere. The option seems to exist, I just can’t see it for some reason.
FYI, I see the Dismiss option under Unread when accessing the forum via my Android phone (using Chrome).
Although not ideal, you can approximate what you need by searching for “Legacy” then click “more” or you can use this handy link:

Aren’t all 4th gens round and white and all OG’s square and black?
True about 4th gen, the are round white pucks. While one can argue the OG units are all square and black, the OG OG is more of a black rectangle than the updated ones were. Maybe you could argue the new ones looked more modern, but maybe the old ones gave off a more flexible (stackable) look? Give the excessive heat produced by the 4-tuner OG (either), maybe the goal of the new design was to make it not look so flexible/stackable??
