@bocaspbx - I hope they do well too. It’s just unfortunate that there have been so many issues early on. It’s not a cheap item and such problems could crush them.
@VegasSteve - There were very few issues when the Tablo first shipped. I suspect they pushed out a firmware release (or two) that they wish they hadn’t.
@jkline - yeah, kinda figured that might be the case. But with the 4 tuner releasing, a lot of folks were waiting on it to jump in. Just imho, they needed to make sure that was solid before releasing it. Not a good first impression at all.
Sux some of you are having so many issues! I had a 2 tuner that was and still is rock solid (my dads using it now) and from day 1 my 4 tuner has been rock solid no missed recordings no crossed out play icons, nothing! I have also been running various firmware versions for the Plex channel.
Hopefully this forum and @TabloSupport can get you guys/gals squared away cause Tablo IMO is top notch.
@PiX64 I think one of the issues is the web app can get updated without our knowledge as it did today and caused issuesr. Bu So it may be possible some of the issues seen were because of those types of things.

to tablo support
@millerprm Can you send me a new ticket on this with the details on your new setup? Support@Tablotv.com
@millerprm and @TabloSupport Ditto. I have stated in another stream when the update came in and eliminated many features on the WEB APP. It has now been corrected but I am still having issues with LIVE as well as recorded.

I agree, I had a couple of issues sat the beginning but it was my router and Apple TV. @Tablo works as advertised.
thx @mb190e. i hope with the help of support i can get it to work bcuz i love the concept of a whole house solution that is reasonably priced with NO ads!
@millerprm Yes HD or not… I watch via Roku 3. One connected the other wirless.
i believe i have narrowed down the loading issue to time of day. the loading errors appear to be happening during the more peak times that people are watching. i can watch live or recorded HD shows later at night or early in the morning without ANY loading issues. i watched a recorded show at 7am and it was perfect. went back to finish watching the same show at 10am and i got a loading issue error every several seconds.
after watching tv this weekend, i can confirm that the loading, please wait issue is ONLY during the hours that there are more tablo users. for the last 3 days, tablo has worked perfectly BEFORE about 8:30am and AFTER 9pm (i am in the PST zone). the loading error ONLY occurs during during the more busy viewing hours, so i don’t believe the issue is with my setup, but has to do with the amount tablo traffic.
I just don’t understand how the hours of the day could affect this. You can unplug your internet connection, and the Roku and Tablo still work just fine. It doesn’t go out to the internet at all except really early in the morning to download guide data.
@snowcat all i can say is that EVERYDAY, the same thing happens. consistently tablo works perfectly later in the evening and early in the morning. during any other time i get the loading please wait error.
@Millerprm, is either your Tablo or Roku wireless? If so, that might be your issue if some people are on the same wireless channel as you during the day. I would try to switch to a different channel. Also, if you have a dual router that does both 2.4 and 5 Ghz frequencies, you could try to switch your device to whatever isn’t being used.
@millerprm - do you notice is there a lot of recordings you have going on at those timeframes?
@piX64. it happens when there is nothing recording. in the evening i can stream live tv from both tv’s and not have any loading please wait issue. also, there are no loading errors with 480i channels, only HD.

Here is one article that discusses changing wireless channels. http://www.metageek.net/forums/showthread.php?6379-How-To-Change-the-Channel-of-Your-Wireless-Network
