(correcting) ATSC 3, it would be a whole new device anyhow… (that probably won’t be anything you want to buy)
Been working for the past 3 or 4 hours. Very surprisingly, pressing the reset button for 8-10 seconds didn’t do a factory reset.
My ATSC 3.0 box was how I got by without Tablo.
Very odd. We sent you a DM with some additional questions/things to try.
I am still not able to connect. I have rebooted and power cycled several times
Been doing Groundhog Day several times since yesterday but finally got updated and did channel scan. 221 channels including all my locals. Yay!!! Then it wouldn’t save and said scan again…dejavu… Called their help desk per the note on my phone and they had me reset unit again. She took my unit number and email and told me all about the outage. She assured me that I am 98% done and they are still working on it but by later tonight my channels will get saved and I’ll be on my way… Sure hope so…
Try their help desk… 844-822-5688
They help me and sent me an email and said they will follow up…
4:25 EDT, 7/28/2025 - still down and unable to connect or function in any way, shape or form. Will my scheduled recordings be lost forever? There were several programs I had scheduled and were important.
Yo promised another update within an hour at 10:45 am, but so far, nothing.
Happened to me. Uninstall and reinstall app on your phone and it will set up
Hi @scnuke - Sorry you’re still having trouble and have missed the additional updates above.
Can you try force closing all your Tablo apps, then reboot your Tablo (just a quick press of the reset button) and see if you’re able to get connected?
Anyone else’s Tablo disconnect but have no light come on? I did everything they say to do to reboot but nothing has worked. They said they would send me a replacement but if it’s related to the outage I’m wondering if it’s fixable.
Well, after that, my tablo unit now works but after a force close and a reinstall of the app, the app still will not find or connect, but live TV works. Some of my recordings are there, others are not.
I lost ALL of my recordings. In settings it says I’ve used 1.2mbs of my HDD but no recordings saves. Weird. You would assume that if the HDD shows used space it would also show recordings.
Sent you a DM with some additional questions/requests so we can get to the bottom of this.
I have noticed that every single program that I originally had programmed to record before this fiasco occurred, no longer shows on the Guide. It is blank. Scrolling simply jumps over it. So I CANNOT PROGRAM THOSE SHOWS TO RECORD!!
Before I found out that it was a server issue, I performed a Factory Reset, to start from scratch. Once the actual servers could be reached, everything came in fine, EXCEPT what I want to record.
WTF, Tablo?!
And yes, I have already rescanned and deleted channels, and readded, deleted the app, readded, etc, etc. shows directly before and after the ones I had previously programmed are all there and can be recorded.
HELP, please.
@Perryinva - Sorry to hear that.
It sounds like your Tablo’s data is a bit out of sync.
In your Tablo app, can you try going to SETTINGS > GUIDE then select UPDATE?
If that doesn’t get you synced up again, there are automated overnight processes that should get things looking and working correctly for you again.
Yes, did that many times already. No difference. It MAY just be the supplier of certain data, as I used to record the world news on ABC & CBS, but not NBC, and it shows blank on NBC as well. Jeopardy was another one, but that season just ended, so perhaps it hasn’t updated.
And 2 programs that I recorded on sub channels ARE showing.
While the outage happened, I had one TV still working. During this time I noticed the guide had finally displayed the correct channel call sign that was incorrect for months. Now that all TVs are up again, the call sign reverted back to the incorrect one.
I guess we are calling apps different things. The app on my phone is what I use to originally connect the Tablo 4G. The other app is on my Firestick and is what I use to watch the program, live and recorded on my TV.
The app on my phone will not connect. screenshot attached. I cannot see schedules or program guide on my phone. I have never been able to , so that is not an issue, although my device has never worked previously if my phone app was not connected.
The recording listing are on my TV and I am missing the nascar race and gold tournament. My recording of baseball is broken up into about 5 different recordings, porb due to trying to reboot my system multiple times.
Solid blue light. App connects and guide is accessible. Can PING Tablo from computer. Trying to connect TV to Tablo, message on TV says to “re-scan”, still does not connect. Reset Tablo. Uninstalled and reinstalled app on TV. Same message “re-scan”. What next?
