Move to the Tablo icon, press and hold the select button until you get the icon menu, then select view details->update.
I just installed the new update from the Play Store and the guide is now working.
To get the update on your Smart TV with Google TV you will need to go to your app and hold down on the select button until the next screen pops up and then select View Details. That should have the choices Open, Uninstall, and Update. Select Update then open and the guide should be there after selecting Live.
I’ve updated my Android phone app and the Fire Stick 4k G2… Both 2.0.4…There is no difference in the way it displays the Category Guide as I described above… Or wherever that thread is.
Since I won’t be using the Category Guide it’s all good.
FUBAR @TabloTV
Updated the Google TV app this morning. Everything seems to be working fine. 2.0.4.
UPDATE - Nov 25 - 10 a.m. ET
Version 2.0.4 is now available for both Amazon Fire TV and Android TV devices. This update should fully resolve the Live TV loading issue for affected users.
If you’re still encountering issues, please check the version number of your app before contacting support.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still not working. Keeps installing version 2.0.3. This is on Sony Google TV.
Disregard…it finally updated. Works now.
Worked fine for me, thanks for the quick fix
How do you use Tablo on Windows computer? I like to know?
Can’t find the update on my TCL TV. I uninstalled and all the Google playstore has is 2.0.3
I have a Roku TV with the same issue guide issue. The Tablo app version is 1.2 build 1. The Roku version is 15.1.4 build 500. Both say they are up to date. Tablo Firmware is 2.2.5 - 2505820. Do I need to contact support? Is Roku running the Android version of the App? Should it be 2.0.4? Thanks

Only options i get are move, open, an view details. That only gets me to a open or uninstall screen.
For me the Update choice was next to uninstall. I’m not sure why it’s not there for you.
Hi @JamesTabl1 ,
Reaching out to support would be the best option.
I’m discovering today that I am consistently “unable to load live TV.”.
In the settings it says the Android app is v2.0.3. I believe I need v2.0.4.
And there are no firmware updates available.
How do I proceed?
Thank you,
KH
new bug - when watching a recording from a fair strength station - i’ve had two instanced where it foes to a ‘tablo not found’.. in one case, i had to reboot the tv to clear. in the other, stopping tablo was sufficient. I havent seen that particular crash until this release of the app.. on highsense u6 running android tv/google tv.. normal tablo crashes take you back to the tv gome screen, and are pretty common.. what im reporting now seems new to this release
Hi, @Kkharman78
The app should update automatically if it hasn’t, try removing it and reinstalling it.
Thanks! In my Google TV (TCL) I found the ‘Update’ button for the app and that did it. Thank you for the response. I am very happy with your product.
