Better yet, if a reboot function were on this built-out page including the signal meter data. You could do a lot with this status page/app for managing and submitting requests, logs, etc. I feel it’s an opportunity waiting to happen.
I do that as well with a few devices in my home that are prone to lockups. Long ago I just used one of these set to power off at 3:30AM each day for 30 minutes.

I bought a smart plug. If I need to reboot the Tablo, I just open the smart plug app and tap to shut it off, then back on again. Most of these also let you create a power cycle schedule.

A smart plug won’t work if you plug the Tablo and other devices into a UPS power backup.
Why would a smart plug not work if plugged into a UPS?
I’m probably mistaken since I don’t have any but when I looked a few years back the outlet was replaced.
I think you’re imagining a scenario where the UPS is getting power through the smart plug. If the UPS is getting power though a smart plug, then the power cycle wouldn’t work reliably because the battery would engage during the power loss, which would defeat the purpose of the smart plug. Better to plug the UPS directly into the socket and connect the smart plug into the UPS.

Better yet, I set up a routine on my Echo so when I say, “Alexa, reboot Tablo,” it turns it off for a minute then back on.
