When I was on the Roku 7.x beta firmware, tuning to a live tv channel would sometimes show a blank screen and play audio (you would have to hit a back button and reload it to get it to play). With this Tablo channel update, I don’t see that problem any more. Good job!
Now if only I could get the Tablo firmware update…
My recording list now takes 5 seconds longer with the new Roku channel update. Prior to all these recent updates, it loaded within a second or two with a nearly half full drive (500 GB). I’m now up to 25 seconds (from 20 prior to new update) to load just a few recordings. The updated channel is also very sluggish on the rest of the screens. Looking forward to being able to sort by recording date instead of just alphabetical. Hopefully that’s one of the updates scheduled for the upcoming release as well as a speed increase. I’m still on 2.2.2 (haven’t been offered the update yet) and due to everybody’s latest problems, I think I’ll stay there for a while until the bugs are worked out. Still wishing I could go back to the version prior to 2.2.2.
I really like the new Roku channel… but I’m having a problem after the Tablo 2.2.6 firmware upgrade. After the upgrade, the beta Channel will no longer access my recordings… When I select the recordings I get the rotating circle… and it never finds recordings. The official Tablo channel still shows the recordings. I/ve tried resetting my Tablo, resetting my Roku (3), but the problem remains. Live tv works fine on the beta channel.

I hadn’t thought to reboot my router since my Roku was finding my Tablo and live TV was working. I gave it a try. No change, beta channel still doesn’t find my recordings. The official channel works fine.
