New Apple TV available to order

So until the app is available, how will the Apple TV interface work? Via airplay from an iPhone or iPad (i.e., same as the ‘old’ Apple TV)?

Yep that’s correct, AirPlay from the iOS devices.

Picked up my new AppleTV today and had a pleasant surprise. When watching Tablo via airplay, the remote can be used to forward through commercials with thumbnails. There were no thumbnails on the old AppleTV interface. The new remote is very slick when forwarding through commercials.
