Is the hardrive married to unit? I have an extra Tablo box and would like to use it when camping. Could I just take my current drive and plug in to watch stuff while gone?
You can’t easily move the hard drive from one Tablo to another. There is a process to transfer a hard drive from one Tablo to another (Legacy units only), but it involves having to do a factory reset.
I’d suggest using Tablo Tools to download content to a different hard drive or USB stick that you can take with you to watch when you’re away. You could even load to the cloud if you have that option.
