Just for the record, I am using a VDSL modem/router. My service gets 25 Mbps down, and 10 Mbps up. ISP is Acanac.

Modem is a Smart/RG SR505N.

My wired network is served by a 20-port gigabit network hub (not managed).

I have WiFi dead spots in and around my property, so I also have a D-Link range extender (on frequency repeater) plus an Apple Airport Base Station Extreme.

I can connect/stream from my tablo from any WiFi source.
