Hi @Russell_Rogers ,
Sorry for the delay.
We do have an upcoming app update that should resolve the issue soon.
Thank you @TabloTV, any idea when the app will be available?
@TabloTV I’m still not seeing the new app. Do you have an ETA?
It’s been over a month since you told us that. And more than two months since it broke.
We’ve submitted our update and are waiting for LG to approve it. Once they do, we’ll make an announcement.
You do not need a Amazon Firestick to use Tablo. However, if you attach a Firestick to your LG TV the LG universal remote fast foward, pause, and rewind features will work.
Any idea on this is coming out? i’m having the same problem.
This could have been fixed long ago by users. Go to Walmart and pick up an onn. Google TV 4K Pro Streaming device. Connect this to your TV and the issues with the LG/Tablo will disappear. It works great with all of your media apps also. Life is too short to wait for Tablo/LG to fix it.
I grabbed an ONN 4K Pro at Walmart months before I even considered moving to Tablo simply because it’s a great streamer. It was on sale for $39 so I jumped on it. It works much better than my Fire TV Cube (2nd gen) — zippier, cleaner home screen.
Add one more voice to the chorus waiting for the app update. Using LG WEBOS, and the fwd/reverse just does not work. And, BTW, confirmed I have the latest firmware update on the device. PLEASE get this updated!!
Received an update to the app on my LG TV two days ago. Believe it or not, the ability to ff or rew live TV, is still broken. Very disappointing after months of waiting @TabloTV.
Sorry to hear that Russell,
To double-check, would you verify the version of your LG Tablo app?
I don’t use the LG app (even though I have 2 LG tvs), but I just tried it on one and ff/rew of live TV is working perfectly.
Just purchased the Tablo box. We have an LG tv and it won’t ff or rw either.
Hi @Anthony_McLeish ,
It should, but you may need to wait while the buffer builds.
