App on Fire HD10 hung on zip code screen

Have a new next gen Fire HD 10 with the latest OS update. Trying to install the Tablo app, and it hangs on the zip code screen. I have uninstalled, re-installed, cleared cache, it always hangs there. Is the app not compatible with the new HD 10? I downloaded it from the Amazon app store.

I have the same problem with Fire HD 10 generation 13 and app version 1.3 from Amazon App Store.

Location permissions set to allowed.

Thanks. I have tried it with the location permission allowed and not allowed - neither made any difference.

I installed an older apk - 1.1.6 from June 3, 2024. It let me get past the zip code page, but sadly I only get sound without video. The sound/no video problem plagues 4 other tablets of various makes and models that I’ve tried to load with Tablo.

Okay, so it sounds like the Tablo app on newest generation of Fire HD 10 is a no go. They really should remove it from the Amazon app store if it doesn’t work and they are not going to fix it.

The zip code issue , the no video issue, or both?

May I suggest that the Dev team to maintain a list of application and firmware versions with fixes and additions for both the Legacy and Gen4 devices? If such information already exists, I couldn’t find it searching the Support site. I get a lot of different Tips and Tricks links.

Version 1.4 fixed the issue and now registration completes after zipcode verification.

Still have the old no video but plays audio problem.

As Scsnyder said, version 1.4 did fix the zip code screen issue, but trying to play anything results in no video - only audio. So this overall issue is NOT resolved.

There is another thread for this problem. One person reported that he got everything working. He did not list which generation fire 10 HD tablet he was using. I’m wondering if that variable makes the difference. I messaged him but he is either unable or unwilling to provide that information.
