With Apple TV Tablo App can't turn off Closed Caption (CC)

I have CC turned off on my Apple TV but Tablo Live TV displays CC. Apple TV is going to be my primary means to view live TV and I don’t want CC on.

When watching something on the Tablo. Scroll up, best way to describe it for me and select the cc option and turn it off there.

I did stumble upon the hidden menu by accident and was able to turn off the CC.
