Why does it skip to live after I pause?

This is driving me crazy. I’m using Tablo quad network and firetv. I can pause and resume.
But when the screen saver comes on, it won’t resume, it skips to live. Every time. Same thing on both TVs, with 2 different fire sticks.
Also took forever to find/test because I’m waiting for screen saver to come on.
So far it doesn’t matter if I press play or the enter/ok button.

What am I doing wrong?

I don’t believe the screen saver is part of the tablo experience, that comes with the device/app you’re using.
