Notice I used the word “tuning” not “tuner.” That involves many other factors beside the tuner chip. A look at the Tablo Engine and its use of a Hauppauge tuner (see @andygresbach’s recent thread regarding the Tablo Engine & reception) is interesting as to how the issue may be “tuning performance” through firmware and not the actual tuner itself… Tablo could become a BMW if it revisited its firmware. I trust that Nuvyyo made the right decision as to tuner selection (hardware).
