Yes, that is a known issue with the WebOS app.

Any future updates to LG Apps coming? Here are 2 features that I believe are in other apps that are needed in LG apps: One annoying feature is playback when a show is currently being recorded. Playback will start viewing the in-progress recording at the end instead of beginning. If I wanted to start viewing recording where it is currently at, I’d just watch it on Live TV.
