With the amp, I believe that I settled on 5 DB. When I repositioned the antenna, I was able to remove the amp and the attenuator and feed the antenna signal directly to the Tablo with only an LTE filter is line on the feed. I then added a distribution amp back it to feed both the Tablo and a TV and adjusted the antenna again. I tweaked a lot to get the reception that I have now. I was able to remove the attenuators but without them I don’t know if I could have gotten past the black screen for NBC. Being able to receive NBC and measure the results of the tweaking that alloweded to remove the attenuators later.
