I transitioned my old legacy Tablo with the new firmware and can access it with the old Tablo app. However, I have a TABLO 4th generation (up to date) on the same network accessing it with the Tablo TV app. How can I access the legacy Tablo with the existing Tablo TV app?
If I recall, the scenario is in “the published migration” steps. So, you may want to revisit the steps. One of those “if you have a 4th gen, then… …otherwise skip” sorts of things.

Once your legacy Tablo has gone through the transition steps, you can switch between devices using the Switch Tablo Device button in SETTINGS.
I finally had a chance to follow the referenced article steps and succeeded. Until I read the instructions, I did not know I needed to download the Tablo TV app on my phone.
