I upgraded my legacy to 1.58. Now the old PC app doesn’t get the channel updates unless I sign back up to the 5 dollar a month charge for channels. Please fix this tablo so it receives the channels updates like the new version 4.

Unfortunealty, legacy apps (including desktop ones), still need a TV guide data service subcription to have 14 days of rolling TV guide data. Without it, they’ll be restricted to 24 hours.
However, the 4th Generation apps don’t need a subcription.

You need to update the Tablo PC app to 4th generation please.
Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s going to happen, @Ghostmaker. Your best bet is to use the Tablo Desktop Player app for the Gen4 device.
This is a basic, user-supported app so no guide and no bells and whistles. I think its main purpose is to download recordings and watch on Windoze, Linux, and Mac devices.
All-in-all, you’re saving $5/mo.
It doesn’t allow setting up recordings.
