UI/UX Deleting Weirdness

@TabloTV Using the Gen4 Tablo with updated Roku Ultra 4850X, when deleting watched shows from the daily recorded shows, we can delete one or two shows, then the second or third one we click on shows the last deleted show again, not the show that was clicked on. Changing to a different menu item then returning to Library fixes the issue and we’re then able to delete the selected program. It appears to repeat the issue if we continue deleting.

Bump @TabloTV

I have seen similar behavior on my gen 4, with Roku Ultra, and attributed it to my going through the deletion process faster than my external drive can keep up. Or faster than Tablo can keep up with my ext drive, or vice versa.
I am not an expert. My 2 cents.

Seems we’ve been having deleting weirdness since the beginning Sept 2023. On both Roku and Google TV (onn). A lot of exiting the app(s) and restarting to ultimately make deleting work/finish.

I am not using an external drive. Never have.

Agree. It’s been back with a vengeance with this stupid UI update. Now we get new error messages when stuff finally DOES delete!

If you try deleting the shows less quickly in succession, do you have the same problem?

This occurs on the Library > Latest screen/tab. No, it doesn’t matter if I eat lunch in between deletes. The refreshed screen after the delete is wonky and sometimes clicking one show gives information on another show, so users are probably reluctant to delete anything further without exiting and coming back to a fresh screen.

@tabjoe - ya, I get it. However, the UI/UX should complete the delete process, even to the point of displaying a “please wait…” message, until the process is complete and the UI/UX can be refreshed and presented to the user to perform another delete. A user shouldn’t be able to “go too fast”.
