I have seen 2 main issues with the latest Fire TV Preview app.

The app closes out back to the Amazon fire home screen and has to be relaunched.

Sometimes when viewing the recording area, shows are shown in duplicate, sometime three or four with different numbers of recordings. This eventually goes away with resets and relaunches.
