Since the TVOS 26 update on my AppleTV 4k, live TV frequently freezes and cannot return to main menu without restarting AppleTV.
FIX THIS!!

Ive had similar problems as well since i upgraded to TVOS 26. apple TV and ios are now unreliable.

I don’t have AppleTV, but can state iOS26 is the buggiest iOS update I can remember in years.
Broken features, too many UI changes at the same time.
Not happy with Apple.

Just to check, can you reproduce these freezing problems?
If so, what channels are they happening on? Would you be able to DM us a video of it happening?
I’ve not had a problem like that, and I ran both tvOS and Tablo betas. Have you deleted/reinstalled the Tablo app?

Since deleting and reinstalling the Tablo app, my freezing problem has not reoccurred. I thought maybe an update had been pushed because I now see a category submenu in the channel guide which I had never seen previously. Was I running an outdated version of the app? Perhaps, but I have always had auto update enabled.

I am experiencing a significant delay in the startup process for all three of my ATV models, despite using the latest TVOS 26. After deleting and reinstalling applications, the issue persists. In contrast, the latest iOS 26 on iPhone and iPad appears to function swiftly.
The current performance of Apple TV Tablo is significantly inferior to its previous capabilities. I am finding it increasingly difficult to tolerate the prolonged startup times.

Disregard my previous message. I tried another show unplug power cord for over 1 minutes. now TVOS Tablo App was quick connect to Tablo. all set for now. strange
