I just received a new Tablo Gen 4 (4 tuner) this past Friday. Set up was easy, and I’m just learning how it functions. I have the lastest firmware, and access the Tablo via a FireStick, and a FireCube. I have been experiencing issues with the Tablo responding to the Tablo app, but clearing the app data and cache seems to clear up the issues every time. I’m still learning the quirks.
I am currently using the internal storage until my 4TB drive shows up later today. Over the weekend, my wife recorded a TV show that had 3 seasons with about 8 episodes for each season. She started watching season 1 successfully completing viewing the first 5 episodes. She deleted the episodes as she completed watching them. However, when checking the space available on the internal drive last night, it was around 20% available, and I noticed it jumped up to 48% available. I didn’t notice what happened right away, but I saw that there was now only 10 episodes left of the TV show when there was 18. I looked in the recordings and season 2 is gone while the rest of season 1 and all of season 3 is there. This is extremely odd, and I know that neither one of us could have deleted the shows. Is this some sort of known issue??
