Trying to Rip to QNAS drive running as a (Service)

Here is the bottom few lines of my LOG file

3/16/2017 10:58:16 PM TempOutput: H:\Tablo\tmp\Background_rip.mp4
3/16/2017 10:58:16 PM Output : H:\Tablo\TV Shows\Chicago Med\Season 02\Chicago Med - s02e17 - Monday Mourning.mp4
3/16/2017 10:58:16 PM Exception: Could not find a part of the path ‘H:\Tablo\tmp’.
3/16/2017 10:58:16 PM All done.

I have created a Network Drive (Drive H:) going to the TABLO directory on my QNAS and I have the tmp directory also in the Tablo directory.

If I do a manual RIP everything works great but if I do a background rip it always fail’s with the above error.

I have tried adding the H:\Tablo and H:Tablo\tmp to my environment (PATH) statement but that didn’t help

Anyone give me an Idea of what is causing this or what I need to do to fix this so the service will run properly?

Thanks

BM

In a word: Permissions.

The background service doesn’t run as “your user”. So I’ll bet it doesn’t have permission for the directory you’re using. Shared drives included.

Read the FAQ on the TabloRipper wiki (same site you used to download it).

PS: TabloRipper isn’t supported by Nuvyyo, so please post using the “third party apps” category going forward.
