If a show has too many recordings in a folder Tablo constantly resets when trying to play an episode. My wife recorded literally hundreds of Wheel of Fortune episodes and now it has difficulty playing them without restarting the Tablo a lot. Anyone have any pointers?
Check this thread - specifically, this reply from @TabloTV. I’m not sure where this ended up.

Which means there is a software limitation as counters were not set up properly to handle larger numbers. An easy fix if you have good programmers. It was a software spec issue.

Having the same problem here as well… Have a TV series that probably has 200+ episodes recorded by now.. I starting watching a few episodes, but as more and more have been added concurrently, I can’t even seem to start watching any episodes any longer, without the Tablo unit crashing.. No problems watching any ~other~ series or movies…
This is for a Gen-4 unit, -----..
It has a 2TB HD hooked up to it, and showing 44% available recording space..
If Tablo could take a look at this, that would be great.. Thanks!
