We use Tablo while we travel and often have insufficient internet to stream and hence our desire for OTA. It would be nice to have an easy way to toggle the channels not coming OTA off so we don’t see them when we know they won’t stream well with limited bandwidth. Seems every device now has all these useless free streaming channels. Tired of dealing with them!
Why don’t you just un-select them so they don’t appear in your guide, or use the Favorites function?
Because it is a pain to go through a list of a hundred and a few I would keep when I have good internet. Would just be easiest to make them all go away when I have no bandwidth
I think we are misunderstanding each other. It sounds to me like, 'when you have good internet, you want to see all the channels in your guide," and 'when you have poor internet, you want to see only the broadcast channels in your guide." Is that correct?
If so, you could set only the broadcast channels as FAVORITES, then, when you have good internet toggle your guide view to ALL CHANNELS, and when you have poor internet, toggle your guide view to FAVORITES ONLY.
I am assuming that you have already gone into settings and un-selected all the channels that you NEVER want to see.
Does that help?
That may help but it would be much easier if I could simply toggle the app to OTA on/off and Internet on/off. I hate browsing a guide only to find a channel that won’t play properly as I move and have poor internet for days at a time. There are places we go where OTA is terrible and we would want to shut them off and if we have bandwidth turn Internet channels back on. Need a clean way to toggle the “signals” we want active basically.
Also, Favorites is greyed out. Not sure how to use it.
