Agreed. I’m not saying abandon support for all the other devices, I’m saying in addition to. At least you have control over your own hardware/software for a “better experience”.
The problem with that is, you lose the ability to quick rewind if you missed something on live TV.
True, but at the same time look at how Roku keeps screwing it up, how sometimes chromecast is useless.
I don’t know why Tablo doesn’t prominently identify Android TV (Shield/ NP) as “preferred devices”, Roku/ FireTV Boxes/ Whatever as “supported”, and all sticks as “supported but not recommended”

I personally would rather see a dedicated device by Tablo and all the rest supported but not preferred. They already kinda put it out their for all these other devices.
