This isn’t about what makes sense or users want. It’s about shot gunning features that appear in other products.
You want to watch TV.
They want to pre-position a product to maximize ad revenue.
Pretty obvious.
You could buy the company and run it the way you prefer.

I saw it for a second and kept on keeping on with my tv watching. Didnt bother my viewership. Just weird.
I’m sure you can explain how the Home page and the new Live guide changes are pre-position to what. And what ad revenue is maximized and by how much.
Any additional revenue has probably been lost to R&D costs and bug fixing the initial implementation - 2.0.4
I don’t need to explain. I’m satisfied that it will go away soon enough.
Its the price we pay for a free guide. I’m OK with that.

I have a gen 3 tablo 128GB with free guide and I don’t have any of the gen 4 app problems. Maybe I should pay tablo and also get some of the gen 4 problems.
