I just set up a new 4th generation Tablo and with my Android phone, I can watch any channel live. But I then set up TabloTV on my Roku ultra and most, not all, channels show black. I can be watching ABC KGO on my phone just fine and my Roku TV shows a black screen. I tried shutting off my Android phone and that didn’t help. I tried various Roku audio settings to Auto and it didn’t help. Some channels are not black but most or many are. I tried rebooting the Tablo and re-scanning and almost all channels had 4 dots for a strong signal. If my Roku, Android phone are on the same WIFI, no external drive, my Android phone shows live TV such as CBS or ABC, why wouldn’t my Roku show the same thing? thanks for any ideas!
I found the problem. I’m replying so others might find my solution here. On the Roku ultra settings menu, go to System settings, then advanced system settings and there set the Roku to Auto Frame Refresh rate.
