Maybe some day there could be a Tablo TV and a security system like Ring Doorbell tied together so if you’re watching TV and someone comes near the front door you would get that image on your TV screen.
If you have a Roku attached to your TV or a Roku TV, their video doorbells will overlay a picture when someone rings the doorbell. They also have an app so you can monitor any of the doorbells/cameras.
