Tablo suddenly not working

I had Tablo for 3 months with no issues. Now I cannot get it to work. Can anyone help?

My setup:
Tablo 4
Roku Ultra LT
TV is Samsung (2012 approx)

2 calls to Tablo support, 1 email exchange with support = No Help
Several reboots, tried different TV, tried a new cord between Tablo & Roku = No change

I do have a splitter so that I can watch TV directly or through Tablo but that was never an issue. Removing the splitter did not help.

Tried both WiFi and Ethernet

Thanks in advanace for any help!

Great pictures of the external components. Could you give some descriptions of what’s going on so that we can help?

Do yourself a favor and buy a nice Blonder Tongue or Eagle Splitter. Knock that out of the way.

Forgive me but the pictures look confusing. Is the white network wire from the Tablo connected directly to the wired network port on the Roku Ultra? If so, I’m not sure how this ever worked.

I didn’t notice this. It does look like they’re plugged into one another! Makes me wonder if they were using wifi on both of them originally.

Good catch!

That’s a good first place to start @johneh

If you’re planning to connect via Ethernet, it’ll need to go to your router, not your Roku.

If you’re planning to connect via Wi-Fi, the Tablo can’t have anything in its Ethernet port or the Wi-Fi module won’t engage.

Choose which way you’re rolling, tap the reboot button on the bottom of the Tablo and give it another shot.

I removed the cord and switched to WiFi and… Success!

Hopefully it keeps working

THANKS everyone

You folks are good. Made a quick job of this one
